Karoo Angus, a family-owned operation east of Bathurst, Australia, raising quality Angus cattle. Karoo, was ran for many years by the late John Reen and his daughter Annie Scott. Today, Annie along with her husband Tony Scott and their son Riley continue the family legacy. The ranch was a key stop on the 2025 AngusTREK Tour, part of the World Angus Forum. Annie shared how the family blends tradition with innovation, running both registered (300 head) and commercial (800 head) herds. They market bulls through an annual sale and rely on strong genetics, natural breeding, and a dedicated team. Hosting over 300 international guests, Annie emphasized the importance of showcasing not just their own herd, but the global strength of the Angus breed.
