Vicki Winter and her husband farm in South Central Kansas. She has an amazing Facebook group called Farmer’s Wives where you can get recipes and ideas, learn, vent, cry, pray and stay connected with other women in agriculture.
We talk about how there is no right or wrong way to be a farmer or farm wife. We all need to prioritize keeping our cup full, find joy in the journey and keep our farmers fed and moving in the right direction. We can do it all, but not in the same day. Humans are heard animals; we have always depended on a community or a tribe. We aren’t meant to do it all, so ask for help, and don’t feel guilty about it.
