Ag Chicks | Episode 17: Amanda Severson
Amanda Severson is the owner of Grand View Beef, a 100% grass-fed beef operation in Clarion, IA. She received her degree in strategic communication from Washington State University in 2015 and began a career in the sports industry with the Seattle Seahawks. After meeting an Iowa farm boy, she left her dream job and moved to Iowa to ranch alongside her now-husband, Knute. She had no experience in agriculture.
Today, Knute and Amanda raise and sell their beef directly to end consumers across the Midwest. Amanda shares their story via Instagram (@grandviewbeef) with the hopes of educating others on where their food comes from and showing them how they can find their happiness in the most unlikely of places.
