Chairwoman Stabenow unveils the Rural Prosperity and Food Security Act
U.S. Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee Chairwoman Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) Wednesday unveiled the Rural Prosperity and Food Security Act, which contains more than 100 bipartisan bills and puts the 2024 Farm Bill back on track to being signed into law by the end of the year.

FDA solidifies authority over genetically altered animals, but with new input from USDA

Less drought, more forage growth brigthens 2024 forage outlook
After a couple of growing seasons with major drought issues, the forage outlook appears to be positive heading into the 2024 growing seasons. While there are some pockets where drought is continuing to hang on, more moisture has been present this winter into spring in many areas.
